"Not a lot has happened" but Johanna is touching base with those of her homies who'd been involved in this issue back when and who might have interest in reinvigorating efforts. She's asking all to send updates on local food initiatives underway and a sense of each's interest, ability and time to to participate if there was a reinvigored local food initiative again, under the auspices of the Montpelier Energy Team. |
MONTPELIER TRANSPORTATION | KatieBudreski 774-272-3511 / katiebudreski@gmail.com | "attempted meeting a few times and had some ideas on the table, however, participation went down after the third or so meeting" |
REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION | Bill Finnegan 238-9355 / wmfinnegan@gmail.com | Initially did some fact finding, attending meetings and hearing regarding VTrans and funding for buses and train service. Bill reported back to the Energy Team this info, but also recommended that regional transportation get folded back into a single transportation team as we didn't have enough people involved to make it work. That would be over a year ago now. |
