The following are the VCEM Pilot Project-sponsored Volunteer Trainings. Volunteers will be trained in walk-through energy assessment, direct installation, and elements of the “kitchen table discussion.” Volunteers from one community can attend a training at another.

Once trained, volunteers will go out into the community for a total of at least eight hours of volunteer time. Each home visit should take approximately one hour, and volunteers will normally work in teams of two.
