     2010 Central Vermont Cycling Tour

                      Ride Scenic Country Roads to Support the Cross Vermont Trail

·         Great Local Food Buffet, Rest Stops! Raffle, Great Prizes, Live Music! 

 Course Description - The dirt road course you’re following can be 15, 30 or 60 miles long, and along the way are rest stops with incredible baked goods from local patisseries. The start and finish are at the Morse Farm. These courses will transport you through a beautiful mixture of woodland ponds, green hilly pastures, and classic New England farms. The 60 mile (100km) version of the Tour has five climbs over one mile long, and another six at a half mile or longer. Keep in mind that there are well-deserved downhills of equal aptitude in return!  Estimated average time to complete this loop is five hours. There will be a minimum of three rest stops with great food available. The 30 mile (50km) loop has two climbs over a mile and at least three over half a mile. Average time to complete this ride is from 2-3 hours. There is are two rest stops on this course. The fifteen-mile course (25km) has one climb over a mile and takes 1-2 hours to complete. There is also one rest stop on this course.
